birthday, beer, and an attempt to take down my bucket list

Apologies in advance, friends. I’m on my fourth cup of coffee and still struggling to keep my eyes open. Birthday weekends are the best/worst. Because I don’t have the energy or focus to be a real person today, let alone a blogger, I give to you another photo essay of my weekend excursions.

In short, I crossed the High Line off my NYC Bucket List (wahooooo), drank a lot of beer and ate a lot of pretzels at The Standard Biergarten, and recovered with a Sunday brunch at the Barking Dog and dinner at the Romantic and Hubs’ where I watched them carve a very cute pumpkin.

Lazy Travelers

The Lazy Travelers are two transatlantic best friends who have mastered the art of exploring a new city. Though Ashley is based in London and Carolyn is in Philadelphia, we'll use any excuse to reunite around the world. We’re professional bar hoppers, pub crawlers, and food testers, and you’ll never see us zipping around, checking things off a list of “must-sees.”
