travel announcement (part two)! a week in switzerland for the wino

It’s been a really big year for me. I mean, really big. In January, I married this handsome devil. I had a year of travel firsts, from my trips to southern and northern California to our epic and life-changing #LTsouthafrica adventure. I spent time in London, re-discovered Spain, and spent many weekends toasting to dear friends at weddings, housewarmings, baby showers, and thirtieth birthday celebrations. I could happily hang my hat after 2015, but unbelievably, it’s not over just yet. You may have already heard, but in less than three weeks, Sean and I are headed across the pond for #LTfriendsgiving, the alpine edition. What you may not know is that I’m extending my trip…

alpine living: one week in a swiss chalet

Unlike our friends & family stateside, we didn’t experience much of a winter in France. Obviously, it’s not a complaint for me at the moment. At the moment, I can open the windows and the birds are chirping and the bees are buzzing. At the moment, I’m Snow Freaking White. But back in February? And, because I know not everyone loves the great outdoors—and I know this because I barely love the great outdoors—I am taking it…

style spotter: après-ski

Good news, little travelers! February has been its usual nightmare, but this is all about to change! We have #LTnyc happening in March, and the wino is headed to St. Thomas in April, so obviously one of us needed to take one for the team and find a mid-winter escape. I’m happy to report that I will be stepping up to the challenge. In just under two weeks, I will be making a triumphant return to… Verbier, Switzerland! I am over-the-moon excited about this for approximately one bajillion reasons, including but not limited to: 1. One amazing week in our gorgeously perfect chalet with Ski Armadillo. 2. The fact that I’ll actually get to ski this…
