weekend warriors // t-g-i-my-f & t-b-e-x!
As per usual, this week got away from me and all of a sudden it’s Thursday, which is really my Friday. That’s right! Tomorrow morning, the hubs and I, little weekend warriors that we are, wake up bright and early. After multiple alarm clocks set for the crack of dawn, we depart for Keystone, Colorado! While I’m most excited for TBEX (le duh), the hubs and I are landing at 9 AM tomorrow with just enough time to turn our morning into a mini-road trip from the Denver airport to Keystone. jetsetters: @happinessplunge
Happy hump day, travelers! Today’s Jetsetter is Adam of The Happiness Plunge, and as usual, we’re jealous. Adam gave up job security to travel the world, so we’re living vicariously. All the best mini-road trips start with the scenic route: I’m a sucker for a bridge with a view, and every time we drive over the Tappan Zee, I have a serious urge to come back when the leaves are changing. Imagine this with fall colors: We arrived in Shohola after the sun went down, and stopped at the Pinehurt Country Lodge, second year running. Should you venture to this hotspot, keep in mind that the kitchen…

T-G-I-A-F, amiright? It’s another one-favorite-post only sort of NTR, and really? You may have to get used to it for awhile. Are we ok with this? The wino’s gram forwaded this along, and we recommend it both as today’s read AND for the pictures. 25 Things You Wouldn’t Believe About These Countries The “country desert” – Libya xo! the romantic & the wino
