the lazy girl’s guide to traveling with a baby // 0-12 months
I promise not to bore you with all the mom cliches, but earlier this year, my little lazy baby turned one. I can’t believe how quickly a year went, so much has happened, etc., etc. Instead, I’ll bore you with something else! Unsolicited advice about something I’m now mildly familiar with, and as such, am an expert. There’s a whole chapter about it in the manual they give you at new parent orientation. Today’s topic? Margot’s first flight was when she was just over seven weeks old. Since then, she’s been across the Atlantic on four roundtrip flights, visited nine countries, and traversed over a dozen cities.…

#LTfriendsgiving // the lazy girl’s guide to celebrating holidays abroad
Having been best friends for almost twenty years (!), we’ve developed quite a few Lazy Travelers’ traditions. But our absolute favorite has to be our annual #LTfriendsgiving. There’s something magical about the holiday season, and something extra special about celebrating holidays abroad. Since our time in New York, we’ve made Thanksgiving together a yearly event, and in 2013, we took it on the road to Ashley and Jeff’s cottage in Fontainebleau, France. Since then, we’ve carved the turkey in Henley-on-Thames, England in 2014, Val d’Isère, France in 2015, and this past November, Montreal, Canada. #LTgreekweek // mykonos is for insta-lovers
If you followed along on our trip to Mykonos with My Greek Villa, then you already know we had an amazing week filled with stunning views and insanely delicious food. It’s no question that Mykonos is a dream destination for foodies, honeymooners & girls’ getaways, but one thing you might not have guessed is that it’s the PERFECT place for anyone obsessed with Instagram. * raises hands * Guilty as charged. Though we’ve had our account for quite awhile, and have posted on it pretty religiously, this year took us to destinations that really helped us up our insta-game. HEART EYE EMOJIS FOR THESE COLORS. (you should follow…

#LTgreekweek // the lazy girls’ guide to off-season dining in mykonos
It’s no secret that we’re long-time fans of traveling during the off-season. The pace is slower, the locals are friendlier, and best of all, the prices are lower. Now that one of us is traveling with a baby, shoulder season travel is more appealing than ever. One of our favorite things? Wining and dining in Mykonos was SUPER low-key during our recent trip. This was especially welcome, since we were visiting a destination that’s also known as one of Greece’s top party islands. Mykonos and its club scene go hand-in-hand, but an October visit meant most places were closing for…

#LTgreekweek // one week in mykonos with @mygreekvilla
We can’t hate on 2016 that much. Sure, there was a LOT of bad. But, as you know, there was a lot of good, too. We’ve decided that that’s what we want to focus on. So, without further ado, let’s talk about one of our very best trips of last year. In October, we spent one week in Mykonos at My Greek-Villa‘s beautiful Villa Ellis! We had a great time with our husbands during our week-long jaunt in Northern Portugal, but sometimes, it’s nice to leave the boys at home and get away for uninterrupted girl time, ie. wine drinking,…
