to the moon & back: seeing new zealand from the back of a spaceship
I’m not sure why, but I envisioned renting a campervan in New Zealand from the earliest stages of planning. Something about windy roads and wide open spaces made me think the hubs and I should embrace our inner great outdoorsmen and plop ourselves in various fields over two weeks. Though I don’t think toting a musical family of twelve cross-country in the back of an Airstream is in our near future (as I envision it to be for all other camper-friendly families), I do think that camping just might have entered our travel lexicon, largely thanks to our Spaceship. We…

style spotter: mongol rally
We’re not sure if you heard, but one of our best blogging buddies is kind of a badass. Brit, @britseeingstars–a former Jetsetter and one of our very favorite bloggers–puts us to total shame. For one, she recently made her way through South America solo, and now, before her backpack has even had time to relax, she’s driving across Europe as part of the Mongol Rally. We’d be jealous, but we’re exhausted even reading about her escapades. Luckily, she knows our worth, and Brit has asked us to help her figure out her packing sitch. To clarify, this isn’t because we are…

kiwi adventures for up & coming adventurists
New Zealand tested me more than I expected—and I think, more than we planned. Our kiwi adventures tested my ability to stay awake in the car for hours and hours at a time (failed it). They also tested my ability to make gourmet meals from the back of our Spaceship campervan (failed it), and my ability to exert ridiculous amounts of energy on outdoor activities (nailed it). Wait, nailed it? Cha, yeah. Nailed it. Because I might not have any legs to stand on when it comes to bragging about how active I am, I figured I’d let the hubs…

sneak peek: prague
The saddest news: the long anticipated #LTeuropa reunion has come to a close. The romantic is on her way to her next adventure with the hubs, and the wino is alternating between crying in a fetal position on the floor and binge drinking red wine. The good news is that we’re getting closer to revealing all the details on our European rendezvous. Until then, feast your eyes on these beautiful photos of Prague, where we spent the last two days of our trip. We split our stay between the Four Season Prague and a Flipkey apartment in the Old Town…

Good news, dudes! Today’s jetsetter is one of the most world traveliest world travelers we know. He’s the man behind The Departure Board AND has sent us all into a serious tizzy as we try and compete for Steps Points to become the #1 most traveled. At the time of this post we are #6. No, we don’t want to talk about our fall from grace (aka #3). You can say hi to Si here, or via twittaaaaa, @departureboard Favorite Place: Wow, what a tough question to start!
