return to reykjavik // a few of my favorite things
This March, it will be 3 years since the hubs and I left New York for a 5-month trip around the world before our move to France. There were so many amazing moments from that trip, and while we honestly cannot declare any stop the very best, our week in Iceland is very close to the top. Naturally, a return to Reykjavik was very much in order. travel announcement (part two)! one week in switzerland for the wino
It’s been a really big year for me. I mean, really big. So it’s natural that I’m capping it all off with something else really big. One week in Switzerland, in all its Christmassy glory. In January, I married my handsome fiance. I had a year of travel firsts, from my trips to southern and northern California to our epic and life-changing #LTsouthafrica adventure. We have at least one night of après-ski scheduled, so we’ll have to ditch the sweats at some point. How to pack for a…

#LTfriendsgiving travel announcement! friendsgiving: alpine edition
Listen, we love autumn. We’re all about the fall foliage and new sweaters. We’ve even been known to sip a few pumpkin-flavored beverages! And now, with Halloween behind us and the temperatures continuing to drop, we’re getting itchy for the next holiday. Enter friendsgiving: alpine edition. Ah yes. Our most favorite American holiday. Mainly because it involves many carbohydrates and lots of time to do what we do best! Eat, drink, relax, repeat. So, dear friends, we invite you to pour yourself a glass of red wine or whip up a steaming hot toddy (or hot chocolate for the fellow pregos)…
