2013 travel planning: let’s do this
Over the past week, we’ve asked our Twitter followers to help with our future travel planning, and submit their best bets on where we’re headed in 2013 using the hashtag #LTGoes. From Iceland to Miami, Vancouver to Paris, we’ve had some pretty good travel inspiration thrown our way. Unfortunately, we had already made our decision. What a coincidence (or not) that our first post in days falls on a #winewednesday! Surely we’ve earned many, many, many glasses over the last week. Thanks to hurricanes and work events and nor’easters, our brains are still in a daze, and thus, can not properly articulate what has been going on in the Lazy Travelers’ universe in the past week. We’ve been trying to figure out a way to say this eloquently… but our brains aren’t functioning properly, and really, eloquence isn’t our thing, so: WE’RE GOING TO SWITZERLAND, BITCHES. the wino gets an extreme home makeover
I’m extremely happy to announce that as of Monday afternoon, I officially have my own little slice of heaven on the Upper East Side. I’m talking my very first studio apartment in the Big Apple! I KNOW, right? Like most New York City apartments, the square footage of my new pied-a-terre isn’t much to talk about. Let me be clear. I’ll be lucky to fit a full-sized bed and perhaps one medium-sized chair in my bedroom/living room/all-purpose area.
