style spotter: bratislava
Like I mentioned before, despite my best efforts, I ended up packing pretty poorly for my #LTeuropa adventure. In Budapest, I was kicking myself for not packing any articles of clothing that could stand up to the inferno-like temperatures. By the time we reached Bratislava on our third day, the temperature had cooled slightly, so I thought for sure I could throw together an appropriate outfit with what I had packed. Wrong, of course. Looking back on our time in the Slovakian capital, I can’t help but daydream about all of the things I wish I had packed– and what…

style spotter: sydney style, day & night
Throughout our RTW, most of the things I missed revolved around food: pizza, bagels, Shake Shack… you know, the usual. Material stuff, on the other hand, wasn’t bothering me. I adjusted to living out of a backpack pretty quickly, and, surprisingly enough, I didn’t miss having a diverse wardrobe the way I had expected. Until, of course, we got to Australia, and my Sydney style was NOT up to snuff. For the first three weeks, it was easy: beach hopping around Hawaii and Fiji doesn’t require much. Then, month two kicked off in New Zealand, and between the camping and…

style spotter: budapest, hungary
I’ve never been more proud of my packing capabilities than the night before I left for #LTeuropa, having rolled up two week’s worth of carefully selected outfits, accessories, and toiletries into a small carry-on suitcase. Could it be that The Lazy Travelers are actually perfecting the art of packing lightly? Flash forward forty eight hours and the romantic and I were sprawled on the floor of our one hundred degree, un-air conditioned apartment, dreading the thought of putting on any of the outfits I had carefully chosen for our trip. I attempted to put on a ankle-length black maxi and…

style spotter: mongol rally
We’re not sure if you heard, but one of our best blogging buddies is kind of a badass. Brit, @britseeingstars–a former Jetsetter and one of our very favorite bloggers–puts us to total shame. For one, she recently made her way through South America solo, and now, before her backpack has even had time to relax, she’s driving across Europe as part of the Mongol Rally. We’d be jealous, but we’re exhausted even reading about her escapades. Luckily, she knows our worth, and Brit has asked us to help her figure out her packing sitch. To clarify, this isn’t because we are…

style spotter: bordeaux, france
After some recent Instagram stalking, I’ve decided that a trip to Bordeaux, France may need to move up on my never-ending bucket list. And no, I won’t name names as to who exactly I have been Insta-stalking. Gotta keep myself from reaching full-on creeper status, I have a rep to protect after all. Besides the obvious connection between my interests and Bordeaux’s main beverage export (read: WINE), I stumbled across these photos: Ummm, who’s with me?? Pictures courtesy of Pinterest (pleaset let us know if credit is due). I may be lazy, but a bike ride through the old country…
