I had hoped to achieve many things by spending one year in France and now, here we are—almost on the other side. We’re older, we’re wiser. Well, bonjour and hello! First thing’s first, let’s get this out of the way right off the bat: my French is très rusty. I tried! After a restorative weekend in Paris and a relaxing visit from two of our favorite New Yorkers, I’m feeling a bit introspective.
