There’s no question: our #LTeuropa reunion of love went way, way too fast. This is why, with only a few days left in our Viennese apartment, we made an executive decision regarding the bucket list: We would visit Salzburg and Hallstatt in one day. Though we had originally planned to dedicate two days to daytrips outside of the city, we just enjoyed the slow-paced process of eating and drinking our way through Vienna far too much. a few of my favorite things: salzburg edition
You know what has always puzzled me? Why “Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music is considered Christmas music. Correct me if I’m wrong, but there isn’t one mention of Christmas in that movie. And I doubt that I’m wrong, because I’ve watched The Sound of Music upwards of 200 times. Maybe its the mention of crisp apple struedel. That seems somewhat holiday-ish. Doorbells and sleigh bells, sure, but schnitzel with noodle? I’m just not buying it.
