four days in london
I’m not going to say that hubs and I were in a rush to leave Brussels, but I will say that we tried to move our train up to Wednesday and contemplated the £200 fee (I contemplated it, hubs automatically said no. I then contemplated leaving hubs in Brussels). But we stuck it out, and Thursday morning we woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed, and made our way to London via Eurostar. bucket list takedown: the cloisters
I’m proud to announce that with under a week left in New York City, I’m more than halfway through my bucket list! Aaand curtsy. Fourth on my list was The Cloisters, a satellite section of The Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated solely to Medieval art and architecture, located at the very northwestern tip of Manhattan. You probably already guessed from my last post: Brussels wasn’t our favorite. We had braced ourselves for this! When you plan a multi-city vacation, there’s always the chance that at least one place will disappoint. Luckily, we had a few places we loved, too.
