    style spotter // alpine accessories

    November 9, 2015 /

In case you missed it, in less than three short weeks, we’re heading to Val d’Isère in the French Alps for our annual #LTfriendsgiving. We’re bursting at the seams to pack up our best alpine accessories, and head off on a new adventure. We’re beyond ready for a weekend of fresh snow, fireside drinks, and most importantly, lots o’ leftovers. We could happily stay in our pajamas for the whole weekend, but there are things to do! We have at least one night of après-ski scheduled, so we’ll have to ditch the sweats at some point. How to pack for a…

weekend warriors // exploring the british countryside

    November 6, 2015 /

With the romantic planting her feet firmly in London, it’s safe to say that many British reunions are in our future. But while we adore the capital city, we’ve been thinking lately that our next rendezvous should involve some branching out. We’re more than a little ready to head off on a roadtrip, exploring the British countryside. Unfortunately, we don’t have any concrete plans at the moment. But there is plenty of inspiration to be found throughout this fine island! There are so many places that make us dream of rubber boots and Harris tweed and jodhpurs and mixing plaids.…

#LTfriendsgiving travel announcement! friendsgiving: alpine edition

    November 5, 2015 /

Listen, we love autumn. We’re all about the fall foliage and new sweaters. We’ve even been known to sip a few pumpkin-flavored beverages! And now, with Halloween behind us and the temperatures continuing to drop, we’re getting itchy for the next holiday. Enter friendsgiving: alpine edition. Ah yes. Our most favorite American holiday. Mainly because it involves many carbohydrates and lots of time to do what we do best! Eat, drink, relax, repeat. So, dear friends, we invite you to pour yourself a glass of red wine or whip up a steaming hot toddy (or hot chocolate for the fellow pregos)…

foodie break // exploring east london with eating london

    November 4, 2015 /

When we first moved to London, people warned us that once we settled in, it wouldn’t be long before we were stuck in our neighborhood bubble. We’re more than familiar with this phenomenon. You fall into a rut, with the ease of your local bars & restaurants beating out any interest in leaving. If you live in West London, which we do, then forget exploring East London. Or really, any new neighborhoods. True to form, it happened pretty instantly. Each weekend rolled around, and we didn’t venture too far out of the way. We happily dedicated weekends to exploring our…

the lazy girls’ guide to the city of london

    October 28, 2015 /

Like all good getaways, our #LTlondontown weekend extravaganza came and went all too soon.  While the wino crossed an ocean for our mini-autumnal reunion, the romantic crossed town. This may not seem like a big deal! But we met back up in a part of London that she rarely explores: the City. Yes, it was just a weekend excursion. But we still feel confident that we crafted the perfect itinerary to present you with our own little guide ot the City of London. It surprises most people when they learn that London has two districts: the City of Westminster, and…
